Our Commitment to the Environment
We acknowledge that our work can have ecological impacts.
Here's how we're taking action:
For every project we complete, we make a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation in honor of our clients that goes toward planting another tree. Here's where you can find more info on that program.
We are committed to protecting air and water quality as well as wildlife, so we do not offer any type of chemical treatments or pesticide applications.
We lead a town-wide cleanup day each year on Earth Day, which has successfully removed over 3 dumpster's worth of garbage from Brookfield's roads and waterways.
If we discover a nest, we will not remove that tree until wildlife can safely be relocated, or, as we did with a project in New Berlin, we will schedule the project around the nesting schedule of that particular animal.
We operate with as little heavy equipment as possible. Unless it's ABSOLUTELY needed, you won't see us rolling up to your job site with multiple trucks, cranes, bucket trucks, etc.
Our business manager has spent over a decade in the field disaster response and emergency management where she has done extensive work on the impacts of climate change, so we are committed to taking measures to reduce this.
Additionally, if you can think of any other ways that we can meet the needs of our clients while reducing our impact on the environment, please don't hesitate to reach out and share those suggestions.
